A few weeks ago Chris surprised me and offered to take me to a Plant Show/Sale in Sarasota! I was, needless to say, delighted by the offer. We found several native plants for our recently planted Butterfly Garden and we found some beautiful and unusual plants (my personal favorites!!) We found a "Sausage Tree" like the one at the Edison Home in Ft. Meyers. They say it will grow fast. We will see.... We rewarded the children for being good little troopers by taking them to the Florida Aquarium afterwards. We had a great day! Thank the Lord for His mercy on our family.
Hmmm... I wonder if you can eat it???

What a wonderful day! I am so glad you all could go to the long awaited plant sale! The sausage tree comment was funny!!! The aquarium is so neat, isn't it?
Looks like you had fun with the Marvelous McClendons!
.Stricklens, what great pictures! Thanks for sharing your good times with us. Some of those plants are just spectacular, arent' they!
Well, first take out that period at the beginning of the comment. Then make arent' into "aren't" like it is supposed to be! Then I can actually presume to help the children proofread their compositions!
