Where The Orange Blossoms Grow....

Hello! Welcome to the Stricklen's blog. We hope to keep our family and friends up to date with what is going on with our family. You will find a variety of experiences posted here -- you may find pictures of the never ending project of building our house, Callie helping William with his first steps, Mary studying a rare insect species, or perhaps you may be terribly bored with Molly's numerous fruit trees, berries, vegetables and rare plant pictures! Who knows what we may find Chris and CJ doing -- probably something having to do with a tractor or machine of sorts. Abby and Margaret will keep us entertained with costumes from other lands or a fairy story. Whatever we post, we trust it will lift your spirits and bring honor and glory to our Lord!

What a fun look into the kitchen window at the Stricklens! We always love to be invited over for dinner. And there is always something absolutely delicious going on in that mixer bowl! No wonder Willie can't resist!

Mary, you always seem to be able to take the most interesting insect pictures! Sure hope those ugly creepy crawlies are not getting on your mother's wonderful veggies in the garden! How nice it is to be able to pick fresh lettuce in November! Way to go, Green Thumb Stricklens!

The captions on Wills are so hilarious. He's still as cute as he can get! Great bug pics, too.

The war in the kitchen looks so very familiar. Work turned into fun is not work anymore, is it?

Love y'all,
The P's

I love to see CJ being the big brother, it's precious!

You girls looked like you were having quite the time in the kitchen, bubbles and all!

Molly, please do an entire blog post on the garden improvements... I have been waiting for a month!

That was such a cute picture of William getting the goods. They sure know where to go, don't they? I caught Emma taking a spoon and getting her own "pick" of cookie dough right out of our mixer bowl!

The caterpillar war was a great picture!
